Our Team

Matt has been in Financial Services since 1996, working as an IFA since 2013. He joined Lakin Clark Financial Planning in 2014 to provide additional support to Chris and expand the areas of advice, and they merged the two companies together to form Austin Lakin Clark in 2016. This enabled Chris to take a less active role and finally retire.

Sam has worked alongside Chris at Lakin Clark Chartered Accountants since 1999 and was instrumental in helping him to establish Lakin Clark Financial Planning Ltd in 2002.

She has many years experience in the financial planning industry and deals with client reporting and compliance as well as managing the office.

Sarah joined the company in 2007 to assist Sam with administration and is now responsible for arranging client reviews and research, as well as helping keep us all organised and up to date.

Having taken extended maternity leave and we were delighted to welcome her back to Austin Lakin Clark in 2020, as she is instrumental to our team

Chris is qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1974. He has been a partner in general practice since 1978 and was a founder member of Lakin Clark.

He is now enjoying his retirement with his family, and spends the odd day with Austin Lakin Clark accompanying Matt on client appointments.
